Submissions
If you wish to submit your work for our consideration, please send a synopsis and three chapters (or an equivalent sample) by email. Your email should include a covering letter telling us about yourself and your project.
Please appreciate that we receive a large volume of material, and must give priority to the authors we already represent. We will endeavour to get back to you within 6 - 8 weeks of submission, so please assume we cannot offer you representation if you have not heard back from us within that time.
Permissions
Permission requests should be sent to admin@jonathanclowes.co.uk. Please note we receive many permissions requests, and you should therefore apply for permission well in advance of your own deadline. Typical processing time is 6 weeks approx.
In many cases, the publisher will control our authors’ anthology and quotation rights. If the publisher cannot help with your enquiry, please send through as much information as possible regarding your proposed usage, including:

Print run.

Charitable aims.

Proposed fee.

Any proposed audio/electronic usage.
Work Experience
